A physician by training, Dr. Carrara has built a career at the intersection of medicine, business, and people. His early work in clinical and scientific environments sparked a curiosity about how innovation happens—and the leaders required to bring it to life. He later founded and led a center dedicated to chronically ill children before transitioning into executive search, where he quickly became a trusted advisor to boards and C-suites across the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
Over the years, he has served as Managing Partner, Americas Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice Leader, and Global Co-Leader at top-tier search and consulting firms. Known for his ability to connect leaders to their own potential, he approaches executive search not simply as recruitment, but as a transformational process, helping clients uncover overlooked strengths in talent and helping candidates see beyond perceived limitations.
